There’s already a smattering of displeasure among Herd Nation with the struggles of Marshall’s offense. A unit that last year averaged 45.6 points and 559.2 yards per game, both among the best in college football, hasn’t approached those numbers thus far in 2015.

Of the 132 points scored through four games (33.0), 14 came on Tiquan Lang interception returns, and another seven were scored on Deandre Reaves’ 93-yard kickoff return last Saturday at Kent State.

No question, the same offensive potency fans have enjoyed watching the last three seasons has not materialized.

    Oh. One more thing.

    Marshall is 3-1.

No, the Thundering Herd did not dominate the nonconference portion of its schedule like what might have been expected. But with Rakeem Cato and Tommy Shuler playing north of the border, some dropoff was to be expected.

"Too many people are thinking of security instead of opportunity; they seem more afraid of life than of death"  – James F. Byrnes

Government is the most dangerous institution known to man. Throughout history it has violated the rights of men more than any individual or group of individuals could do: it has killed people, enslaved them, sent them to forced labor and concentration camps, and regularly robbed and pillaged them of the fruits of their expended labor. ~ JOHN HOSPERS

Remember just a few years ago when it came down to November games and Marshall playing for bowl eligibility? Praying for that 6th win? With the injuries this team has seen and the players that have left... a few years ago we would never have seen 6 wins. This team has talent, depth and I have no doubt about becoming bowl eligible. Win big or win ugly. A win is still a win. We are.... Just fine!
