    • He seems to have unveiled the offensive game that's always been there...plus he's made 23 of his last 25 FT's (10/11 last night)...he even had an ASSIST (17 in 51 games)!!!...

    Exactly! Big men are suppose to be finishers, not assist men...

    • Yeah, backontrack, but apparently some of his teammates have made comment as to Hassan's lack of assists during a couple of losing streaks by the Heat.  However, Hassan apparently has not been starting but coming in off the bench.  Perhaps that is giving him some idea as to the flow, etc., of the game.  Also, he obviously has been working extra on his foul shooting, which has helped his overall scoring to increase.

    If he can stay away from controversy down the stretch, play consistently with production through the playoffs, and if the Heat can make some noise in the playoffs, Whiteside should set himself up for a MONSTER contract for next season and beyond, whether with Miami or elsewhere!!

    • Even considering his position and role, his assists are still absurdly low. Dwight Howard has 70, deandre Jordan has 63, cousins has 157, Drummond has 52.

    yup. most bigs at that level average 1-2 assists per game, hassan averages about 2 a week.
