  • Northwest CC (JC – MS): Per source, Stan Hill has been hired as offensive coordinator. Hill previously worked as the offensive coordinator at Oxford HS (MS).

  • Stan Hill to me, was one of the best QB I seen here and definitely in my all time top 10.  To bad Stan got hurt, he would have made the NFL, IMO..

  • I agree, if he had stayed healthy, he would be one that everyone still talks about.

  • I was always a big Stan Hill fan from the first moment I saw him throw a football. My brother took me to a summer practice to watch Byron Leftwich and the moment I saw Hill roll out and throw a tight spiral bullet I knew he was a special player. He was never the same after the injury. Would be nice to see him come back around.

  • I thought he had a chance to as good or better than Chad at one point.  The injury was a setback for sure, but Stan also lacked the drive that Chad and Byron had to be great according to multiple members of the staff.  Stan would probably tell you as much himself.  Anyway, i'm glad he got this new gig and hope he has mucho success

Government is the most dangerous institution known to man. Throughout history it has violated the rights of men more than any individual or group of individuals could do: it has killed people, enslaved them, sent them to forced labor and concentration camps, and regularly robbed and pillaged them of the fruits of their expended labor. ~ JOHN HOSPERS

  • As much great luck as we have had with QBs, we've had some bad luck as well.  I thought Adam Black would be one of our greats and follow Stan Hill who would trot off to the NFL. A mysterious bout of vertigo changed that.  Morris and Graham both had their careers retarded by personal issues. Then there was that big-armed kid from Ironton who never made the transition…of course, I suspect every college goes through similar things, but we had a few years when we had QBs that had very marginal physical skills to play at this level because of attrition at the position.  These coincided with the worst years in our program's recent history.

  • I always thought Stan was a special talent, but looking back I wasn't sure if I was right or just being a homer.  It's good to see so many others felt the same way.....

Minor car accident fro Adam Black I believed caused fluid in the ear to act up. Your right they, he was destined for greatness. Had a cannon for a arm. I hated having to warm him up some before practice sometimes as he did not take it easy on you.

Didn't he end up going to law school?
