easier this morning. Last night was on of the toughest Herd losses in hoops that I can remember. In fact it may have been toughest of all times, and I did lose sleep over this one. I tossed and turned all night. The only saving grace was I didn't have to get up this morning and go to work. Hand it to La Tech a they had well crafted game plan that they executed. Too many they are the best team in the league. I think they are better than UAB. I am still at a loss to explain how North Texas beat them. They used their athleticism to take the ball to the basket and get fouled and they were very good from the line. I am still miffed that we outscored them in the paint. It seemed like they were shooting layups all night. I agree with coach when he made the comment about no one stepping up and taking the charge. The only was from a kid who is playing on basically one leg. Fellows we have a truly good person as our coach. I thought the way he handled the heart wrenching loss was commendable. By going up to the kid and congratulating him for making that shot speaks volumes for the type of teacher we have working with our players. I think the sun came up this morning. I am not quite sure, it is snowing.

well said, just a couple things i've thought about to keep my sanity in the last 12 hours...
1) we were picked 9th in this conference, a win at home saturday we finish no worse than 4th.
2) had you asked me in december i would've said we would be lucky to win 10 games.
being picked 9th in conference, being gawd awful in december, here we sit 11-6 in conference, 4 of the 6 losses have been by 4 points or less, all 6 have been by 10 points or less.
we're going to be okay.
