  • What's the outlook or feeling as to the crowd for tomorrow's game against LA Tech??

About 560 reserved seats left (5000 sold); about 700 gen. admissions sold -- 5700+ tickets sold with a full day tomorrow before the walk-up crowd starts around 4 pm or so.

Last several weeknight games have generated walk-ups in the vicinity of 600 - 1000+.  A decent sales day tomorrow (300+) and a great walk-up can push attendance beyond what seems like a lock (of 6500) and above the 7000 threshold.

  • As many on here know, I'm a basketball first guy. This is what I've been waiting on for many, many years. I love the excitement we've had in The Cam this year and the road games I've attended.
Can't wait to get to Birmingham next week and possible tournament trip the following week.
No matter where we play, I will not miss another game all year!

  • I'm actually going to this one.  First MU basketball game in 25 years.

    Um, where can I park?

On the street. The garage and west lot are for season ticket holders.
    BTW, welcome to Herd basketball!

Generally space in large lot behind new building (the name escapes me but it is across from Morrow Library. Cross 3rd Ave toward the river to get there.

Check Google Earth if need be. A little walk but not bad at all.

  • You can park in the lot beside the stadium lot across from the recent center for free.

  • BTW, Congrats to Herd fans for backing this team down the stretch. Nearly 6,000 for a cold, snowy evening was a delight for the players, and if we can step away from being Herd fans for just a moment (hold on now) - what a great game to watch! Back and forth, MU up then LA Tech up, and down to a 1/2 court shot at the buzzer - wow! (Back to being Herd fans, wooooo).
Tough loss but the crowd was great and I hope all 6,000 bring a friend or something Saturday night for two great seniors and a much needed win - If we run out of seats, we'll hang chairs from the rafters!

  • As of last night, almost 6,000 tickets sold.  A good day selling today and a strong walkup crowd could put us over 7,000.  If any of you are thinking of going, do it.  Last chance to see the team at home.

Ahhh that is unless we decide to buy into a pay to play at home game.

a 4 game winning streak will negate that thought!
