There were two big instances in which that happened during Saturday's 38-21 win over Cincinnati: one landed a staggering blow just before halftime while the other landed the knockout punch.

Marshall head coach Doc Holliday credited play-calling from offensive coordinator Bill Legg for the proverbial haymakers.

"Any time you can make a big play like that, you have to come back and take some shots," Marshall coach Doc Holliday said. "I thought Billy did a nice job of taking some."
