The Herd defense played against Kent State and 2 quarters of the Cincy game without allowing a single point. A little fact that may have been overlooked and demonstrates the defense coming together nicely!

Defense is much improved and should continue to improve...going to be a strong point for this team..

With so many good teams it starts with the defense, I was most concerned about our size and depth. While depth needs to be develop, I feel our quickness due to being less beefy has turned our defense into possibly our most reliable unit.
