I hope it's ok to post this here, but a resolution I made for 2018 was to be more serious about my retirement and investing. I did a bit of research and came across an interesting stock broker company that is currently giving away a free stock to anyone who tries them out. Plus all trades are free. They are similar to E-trade or Scottrade, but with no fees for buying/trading/selling stock. Also the page that asks for bank information, if you don't want to put that information in you can skip that step and still get the free stock.
