    • I didn't realize former herd coach Donnie Jones was an assistant at WSU.  Would like to send him packing in round 1 as well!

    • I like and respect Wichita State and won't stop just because we play them. They are overshadowed in their home state and have built more with less. Hats off to them!

    • I expect Jones needed a job to feed his family. Marshall gave him one. It’s called friendship and the Golden Rule.

    I hated that we drew WSU, because I root for them. Now I’m watching for Providence also.

    I also blame the administration’s lack of BB commitment for Jones’s untimely departure. I hope that D’ANTONI has better luck with BB funding.

    I can tell you, Donnie's days were numbered with Mike. Hamrick did NOT like the schedules that Donnie was putting together. Donnie got out before being pushed out.

    You’re exactly right, he got out before being pushed out .

    John Sutherland told us a couple months ago that there will be a new fund raising campaign soon that will most effect basketball. The timing is GREAT!
