  • I try to follow all Marshall sports.  How are we so continuously bad in women's soccer?  Got thumped by Youngstown State, who had 3 wins last year, in the exhibition.  Then we got beat by Farleigh weenieinson in the opener.  Are they NAIA?  We have yet to score a goal!  So much for the theory that a nice facility will help make a better program.  Is the coach bad?  Do we just not recruit well?  Anyone with any insight?

Why wont it let me spell Dickinson?  This is some serious censorship 🤓

  • I think they lost 5-0 to Morehead in their first exhibition game.  Then I believe they and Youngstown tied 1-1 in double ot up there in their second game.  Believe this was their first "real" game.  Sounds like offense is a major issue.

  • Speaking with my son tonight about women's soccer as NKU was on ESPN3.  He mentioned a friend of his' daughter wanted to play at MU, couldn't even get a sniff from the school. She ended up at Morehead; of course she was elated to beat the crap our of MU. But she did tell her parents how great a stadium MU has.

Facilities can help, but they can't be the whole answer; soccer is proving that.
