i've never gone, myself, but i do believe they sell this event out every yr.  i don't know about board notices or paper ads, but they market the heck out of it to BG members.  i've prob gotten no less than 20 emails advertising it.  all that's to say, it makes sense for them NOT to pay for H-D advertising if they're selling it out without it.  they probably need to raise the price of admission.

They sell a lot of corporate sponsorship for this event. Most tables were bought by local businesses. Enjoyed talking with John Sutherland. This was our 4 th year attending. I will say that Doc definitely seems more confident this year than previous years.

Very well attended event.  They need a larger venue.  Excellent as usual.

Yes. Marshall promotes the heck out of it to BG members for sure. Like you said, it ALWAYS sells out. I missed the past couple of years. As expected the large majority of the fans there are from the Charleston area.
