  • The game of basketball is changing. Dan is on the forefront of it. We have more size than we have had this season, and we'll be scary good by the time cusa play comes around

  • The length and athleticism of our recruits has definitely increased with each class. I'm excited to see who we go after with the other 2 scholarships. I'm guessing a PG?

Agree 129.  Now if only a few of these recruits "with length" will buy in totally to the strength and conditioning program and gain some solid bulk, i.e., muscle, we could really be ready to go toe to toe with some of the "majors" in future seasons, come tourney time, or otherwise!!

I know from talking to Collis he is really concerned about a PG. Danny has shown little interest in getting one. We know of 1 or 2 that have expressed interest in us but he has not offered them.
He has indicated unless one pops up that really impresses him he is fine to go with what we have.
He seems to think that Kinsey can run the point and he knows from watching Dillon that he too could handle the job.
    Time will tell.

  • I definitely think Dillon could do it and so could Kinsey, BUT... would love to go after some big time PGs and see what happens.

The only one we really sought was from Orlando and he signed with Wofford

  • I think the top PG in the state is Zyon Dobbs of Fairmont, but I haven’t heard of any interest in him from us.

I believe his dad, who as you know played for us, has actually reached out to our staff but we seem to have no interest

  • Danny said he wants one as good or better than jon. Wont settle for anything less. And he has confidence in west, kinsey and dillon.

  • I cant remember his name but who is the guard that played close to here in Kentucky but left to play at one of those bball schools . He has played against the Herd players in practice before . Maybe his name is Spencer ?

  • It'll be tough, really tough, finding one as good or gooder than Jon.

Spencer has a lot of interest in us and has played a lot of pick up games with our guys. Danny isn't sold on him, however
