Danny knows 10 times more than me. But if it was me I would go after a big time JUCO 6'8" type kid that can flat out play. Jannson is all we have as a big. We are really getting exposed and showing our weaknesses tonight.

OK let's break it down. We are nowhere near close to being a top 25 team right now. Jannson is very good and especially in big games. He does not get rattled. Jon and CJ also gives you what you need. Besides that we have nobody that has it on a big game stage. Beyers just made a very very costly mistake. West just doesn't have the size to be effective at this level. And Kinsey has a long way to go against good teams. Bennett is about a year away and Sustic kills us defensively. If we had one more Jannson we could compete at this level.

You realize that 4-5 good players is all you need to be a very good basketball team? We have 7 players that are good, then our deeper subs. We'll be fine. This wasn't out night, refs and cold shooting on top of it. Still have a very good team, and this will make them better.

Elmore is struggling big time . Im not sure if he was hot it would matter , Maryland cant miss . I like DDs style but we need a big man , not a big man that shoots threes , a big bruiser . The JUCO route may be the way to go .

This new big man we have has about a 5 inch vertical and cannot grab the easiest of rebounds going right at him. He can’t run the floor a couple of times without being gassed. Other than that he’s pretty good.

This is one of those games that EVERYTHING that can go wrong does. Elmore is playing the worst game of his career. Burks is none existant. We started playing panick ball. And the refs are not the reason we are losing at all. But they are calling everything one sided. This is a huge snow ball rolling down hill.

Watch for the foul calling to start evening up . The refs didnt cost us the game but they sure were some head scratching calls.

Wow. Embarrassing. We, as a fan base haven’t been able to be confident and have a swagger about us since Byron. We’ve had a couple of bragging moments, but not a constant feeling of confidence. Every time I think that’s changed, I get brought back to the reality of being a Marshall fan.

Yep never saw this coming for sure. But it doesn't look good. Amazing how one guy could make that much difference but it sure looks like it. Until Danny can get guys inside to guard the paint and man up we are in trouble. Even a Jems Kelly type would have been huge in this game.

Bennett just watched his man make a 12 foot jumper, and then looked like me going to the basket on a floater toward the rim from Elmore and slammed it on the floor for a steal.  Someone has to tell me what he's bringing to the table right now because I'm not seeing it.

It pains me to say this, but we are a bad basketball team right now. One of my biggest dissapoinments is we just quit playing as a group and have started playing one on one street ball and it is very embarrassing watching how undisciplined we are playing right now.

Penava wouldn't have made much difference in a game like this. He got absolutely abused by good heavy bigs last year and would have tonight. Not saying he isn't missed, just that he was just as bad on defense vs a team like this.

We got our butts kicked , simple is that , fortunately , the season isnt over yet. I bet Maryland would have given Duke a game tonite .

DD may slip up and say something about the officiating tonite , he should .

I dont see Iran contributing for at least a couple years . Im sure he gives his all in practice but he has some work to do.

Honestly I wished D anny would show some emotion right now during this game. They have totally stepped away from organized ball. He should be going nuts right now IMO.
