  • Marshall should never ever lose to FIU.  Beating them should feel normal , regular.  Like a practice.

Yeah cause we got so much more to offer than just 40000 enrollment, a location in South Fla and Butch Davis.

  • Again, not yet.  MTSU is up on UAB.  If MTSU wins, we aren’t co-champs.

Right, 01.  But since UAB is the only conference team to get much love at all in the polls this season, I'm counting on them to pull out a W!!

Did you see who cares about FIU football?  Nobody!!  Players and coaches win not location and school size.  Here Bobby come play here at FIU in front of our 2k in fans and no football tradition.  But you'll love the beach.  Well that just tells Bobby right there that football doesn't matter and that the beach is better.  FIU is horrible and always will be.  Spank that FIU ass

Why is Penny from The Big Bang Theory interviewing Doc?  And where are Doc's eyes looking in that stillframe?

  • Grant Traylor gets a game ball for his prediction of a Herd win 28-24. Just one point off.

  • I hate this for the Doc bashers.
Seems they've been pretty quiet since around 3.
    Great road win!
    Bring on The Hoakies!
Great road win! Hahahahahaha. Oh man, oh man. FIU is a GREAT win for doc lovers. Lolol.

Another trash season, with no title, and a trash bowl.

  • We play the worst VT team in a long-long time.  We will learn a lot more about our seasonal progress next week.  We win again on the road next week and we are making team progress and with a freshman qb.  Green has serious upside if his qb coach develops him mechanically, mentally and physically.  He's not hyper athletic.  His forward and lateral movements need a lot of work.  He waddles when he tries to take off.  He is unbalanced.

  • 24...why the need to blast a road win against a team that was 8-3?  I understand if you don’t like Doc but I would hope you like the Herd and can enjoy a win...how do you think Michigan fans feel today?

Sorry we couldn't win by 30 for the Doc bashers.
You keep hoping for the football team to fail so you can bitch about the coach.
    I'll keep hoping they win.

  • Don't choke (thanks to some head scratching coaching decsions) gainst S. Miss and this season feels so much better than it does. We had a championship caliber team for this conference this year. Disappointing that we blew a chance to play to prove it.

I got a smite for this? Really? Come on we all feel it. This season has been a solid year honestly we are gonna win 9 or 10 games and it doesn't feel like that much of a success because of the lack of chance to play for the title. That's all I'm saying that this goes from a year of frustration to a pretty special year if we take care of business at S. Miss.

40000enrollment DOLLARS....Butch Davis or ol Doc that you want fired.....Tampa or Fat Pattys. We're the little engine that could and Doc has a lot to do with it. Johnnys and Joes been a little light but things are lookin up if you know how to look.

Well..we had a Fr QB..who got hurt...and the hyped trans was hurt worse than the FR  from the get go. A dynamic QB is imp and our OL too young and only two WRs. But thats on Doc. Better things ahead tho IINM.

Butch Davis cheated his way to Ws.  Never want Butch Davis for anything.  We don't need to cheat to beat FIU in anything but soccer where a goal wins you a game.  Looking up, I don't need to look up bc we won the game against FIU.  These wins are not monumental to me.  These teams are not Goliaths.  They are teams who would not even win FCS Championships!  I love the Herd but until we win this league and steamroll it again I'm not impressed yet for this season.  I am proud of our players and coaches for winning a game that they should always win.  We beat FIU in 2011 too in a bowl game.  Same story I have already seen.  Where is the new chapter or book (maybe starts next Saturday)?  We have rbs (King  :( :( ??? ??? and Knox)  A young qb that can go either way in a year.  Our best wr is gone.  Our 2nd best wr who is way underutilized also gone (Williams).  Will Johnson not getting it done as a premier, Obiallo maybe a 40 catch guy, who else.  We don't play any other wr's besides Henry.  Go Herd and beat VT!

  • Apologies for being late to the party, but I just want to harp on the defensive call to sell out on the 4th and 10. We always get burnt on that call. just keep the play in front of you.

That 4 grand to pick sorry FIU over playing at Marshall and being around our former great players and tradition doesn't mean squat.  FIU should be playing FCS football.
