  • This was the type of game we complain about Doc struggling to win - against a team with a winning record. FIU is now 8-4.

First off, there were no game management errors that I recall.
I thought Cramsey did a good job of calling a more conservative game once Green started turning the ball over, but he wasn't super predictable with just runs up the middle.
The decision to go for the punt block when the offense was struggling was the right call.
Props to the entire offense for playing clutch football on the final two drives.

    Good, solid Herd win.

There was a pretty significant game management blunder in the second quarter.  We drove the ball to the 2 yard line, made a call to put in Thomson, which apparently confused ourselves as we ended up calling the TO.  We then got a false start likely due to the QB cadence change, the put back in Green for two rushes for -1 yard before the missed field goal.

That made a multi-score game a competitive one.  I thought that to be a significant game-altering mismanagement.

Bang Anderson like we did early in year but stopped of qb sneak package it.  Too cute just too cute.

  • A good win for us.  Good opponent on the road in fro t of potential recruits.  Good to see Cato and shuler getting a picture with doc.  Also a win in front of potential recruits.

Would rather we would have won going away with a couple of more scores by the offense.  Still a good solid win.
