  • Is there a length of service he is trying to get for state retirement? Not like he needs the money.

  • Knowing he can't win more than 4 next year...I think he retires this year. And the cupboard will be as bare as can be.

  • Once upon a time, there was an additional bonus for 10 years of HC. Not sure if it still exists.

  • Yes, he's forced a lot of former Herd fans into "retirement".

  • 8-4 with two ACC schools among the losses.  With a freshman QB.  You people are so delusional it’s almost funny.

  • Greg it's not being delusional.  Look at the team records this year of who we beat and then look at over Doc's career. Also we have won 1 CUSA championships in his 9 years.

  • Go back and listen to Hammy and Doc when he was introduced and if you can not see it or heard you are fooling yourselves?

Which CUSA team is better over the last 9 years?  Go ahead.  I’m waiting.  WKU is the only team to win two.  And they suck %^&* this year.

  • Well UAB has been back in football for 2 years and won today.  Just Google CUSA championships and Marshall has only won 3 I believe.

You asked which teams in CUSA over the last 9 years have been better. Those teams were in CUSA, were they not?

The question was obviously written about current teams.  Learn to read.

And why has our qb play been so inconsistent since Cato left? And, this team gets drubbed by both of those ACC schools. We got beat by a six win Southern Miss team. We got blasted at home by Middle Tennessee. I think you are the one who is delusional.

when all of your wins are against teams that the majority of college football would love to have as their homecoming opponent, it's not really all that impressive, if you stop & think about it.

  • Would YOU leave?  Think about it.  You make about a Mil a year.  Your buddy Hambone has your back.  You win 7-8 a year against mostly beefed up high school teams.  The boosters have probably got a nice retirement plan for him.  His cars are provided.  And you have a group of blind supporters that think you doing a great job.  Who on this board would step down?
