Morph’s reports from practice were accurate.  He was a kid waiting for his opportunity.  204 yards, 2 TDS and zero fumbles was a great performance (on a disappointing day).  My first thought when he got caught from behind on his first big run was that King would have been in the end zone.  That thought was quickly replaced with an appreciation for his ball security.

If he'd have glanced behind for a moment, he would've drifted to his left instead of to his right. That allowed the VT DB to catch him.

Good post! With all the negative sentiments, his performance today and this year has certainly been exceptional. Looking forward to watching him in the future.

He is legit; gives us something to build on. Whoever we play in the bowl will have to respect him.

And he never would have seen the field if Davis wasn't injured. Says a ton about Doc's talent evaluation.

OL needs to get stronger. I think it showed against the ACC schools. We should have good D back. Not sure about WRs.

Our D is Cusa good.  That’s it.  Scheme off against quality passing teams. We can’t cover.

On the bright side, USF has a horrible rush defense.  I think they rank around 121st. Hopefully the coaches rely on our backs in the bowl game and give Knox at least 20 carries.

All we needed this year was a ground game philosophy and good total defense.  Neither happened. Pass too much, zero short yardage philosophy, poor pass D, suspect kicking game. Below avg Herd team.

Where are you hearing this, and about whom?  If you're talking about King, wouldn't this have to have something to do with his "getting better", or lack thereof?  If not true, the rumor would seriously need to be stopped quickly.
