Two key would be seniors for each sport.
That both would get bad advice from those close to them and forgo their senior years to go pro.
And both wouldn't be drafted (actually odds pretty high on this one).
But then both would regret the decision. We know Penava wanted to come back. And I know Chase is on the practice squad with the Chiefs but he has to think after what happened with AT and IG that he would have held on to the starting role (or worse case got it back after a few games) and could have tremendously helped his stock and paycheck in the NFL.
And then it turns out both are not just somewhat missed, but tremendously missed as they both turn into the missing pieces for great years for each sport.
After a day like today, say what you want about either of them...both made a decision that hurt themselves and most likely kept their teams from winning championships. IG is better than AT...but no way is IG right now anywhere close to what a Senior Litton could have been.
Litton could have won a championship and had a great showing at a Senior Bowl.
Penava could have got the national exposure for being on a team that got ranked and went deep in the tourney.
Possibly career and life changing bad decisions for them...and bad banner eliminating luck for the Herd.
