They have never correctly used the video boards that we already have. Chances are new ones would be treated the same way. Always a small video feed and huge advertisements. Same for the ribbon boards. Most schools do fun things with the ribbon boards and the video boards are full screen game footage, not ads. Not good old MU.
Games are depressing. Nothing beats looking all around you and 90% of the sponsor advertising is Cancer Centers and Cardiology departments at hospitals. I remember sitting at a game and over the speakers you hear "Cabell Huntington Hospital want to remind all men over 40 to have a prostate exam regularly" or something along those lines. I'm thinking to myself "No-one at this game wants to think about having someones finger in their butt and if they are suffering from one of these ailments, chances are they are at this game trying to escape that reality for at least four quarters. They want to look around and be reminded of it by all of the competing hospitals advertisements everywhere they look." I know WV and the tri state area in general don't have a lot of industrial companies or businesses to pull sponsorship from and they pretty much get the crumbs left behind after WVU and UK snatch up all of the money, but geez, it's depressing.
