CBS and Viacom have again agreed to merge.

I wonder if this could move CBS Sports Network up the food chain so to speak. In theory, Viacom could say put CBSSN in the same tier as ESPN, FS1, NBCSN or we pull MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central etc. Of course, that would mean they plan on making CBSSN a priority which CBS hasn't really shown they're interested in doing.

At the least, it may get CBSSN on more streaming services due to being a Viacom channel now.
