  • Thank you! I don't give a #$#@ who is the better QB... Green or AT. The fact is our OC does not know how to call a game and will set any QB up for Failure!!

Exactly right.  Agree 100 percent.  This oc has been doing this since he got here.  And our HC still doesn’t recognize the strength of our offense and how to be sure it’s done.  Coaching first.

  • Maybe we should play Thompson and start preparing Wells to start midway of the season.

  • You can run the ball all day in CUSA. Ohio and Cincy will be different stories.

Not if they only score one touchdown per half.  That's when you can run the ball all day.  Everyone knows that but our OC and HC.

  • You people who are blaming Green are clueless.  It was the play calling and Doc is still a pussy when it comes to situational play calling and analystiics When you're on the road, you go for the throat.  Hats off to the defense. They played their (@/:; off

  • I am not crazy, I am pretty decent at judging QB talent. I was pro cato when everyone was gaga about mr florida, Graham. Liked Litton, and have hated Green since the start. Circus catches and brady made him look much better, they pulled catches out of double and triple coverage, all season. If people can't see how bas Green is now, they are lying to themselves. And I understand that Thomson looked bad last seasonnbut he was hurt, and his 40 yard on a rooe first pass this season proved he has healed. up

Ok Stinger...you are now a doctor and a QB guru?

Morph and others who went to every open practice said multiple times that it wasn't even close, IG was still better than AT.

Not saying IG is good and I agree, AT couldn't have done any worse tonight. Heck, anyone on this board could have played QB in the 2nd half with same result.

I guess it was all Docs fault that Green couldn’t hit water if he threw from a boat.  And the great play of him tucking the ball and running out of bounds and LOSING yards!!!!!!

Dude, %^&* off about the stinger, that's what i was told by a very good source and it was wrong. Same as when I posted about Johnsons back when doc was saying day to day etc. I apologized for it. I'm just saying, i could see the "back up" was better thannDocs chosen one, for the previous 2 QBs. I see the same here.

IG is NOT a good QB against good teams. Mechanics are bad and he doesnt go thru his reads. He will get by in cusa because it is so weak. But he is not a big game qb. Just watch him throw the ball off his back foot and all his other mechanical issues. I have never, nit once, seen him step into a throw over his front foot.

To be fair you shouldn't have had to rely on a source to know Yulee had more than a stinger. I've never in my life and I've been around the game of football for 25 plus years seen a guy placed in a neck brace and carted off the field for a stinger.

Of course we know that. I'm just saying anyone should have known it was very, very serious on the field Friday and should have know it was  not a stinger no matter what someone told them.

  • Lol guys. No matter what ESPN tells you the QB is not the most important player on the field. Football is an 11 man sport with a coach playing chess.

    1. Our two guards were out matched all night. Oh yes they cost a bit of yards too.
    2. We tried going side to side passing. Boise has that done the first quarter.
    3. Football is, and always will be run first pass second. WE abandoned the run. Can’t go over top if they don’t fear a run.

We can complain all day. Boise played a good game. Green started 8/10 and we stopped doing what was working. Knox was on fire we didn’t give him the ball. Green made some bad plays but coaching puts them in position to succeed. Tonight that didn’t happen. Blame your OC for the game.

    Thank you!!!

IG is an easy scapegoat. All people had to do was watch what was going at the LOS and see what was really wrong.

You loved Litton and he got worse as he went along. He threw off his back foot constantly. That’s why he threw high most of the time and never could hit the deep ball. The Chiefs found that out.

Granted our OL is bad. However,  I am not basing my opinion on one game, Green makes horrible decisions, did last year,  and is a turnover waiting to happen. All the hype telling us how he has grown over the summer when he never takes a hit is smoke and mirrors.

Lol Litton is a top 5 QB here pal, and the Jags signed him. Where is Birdsong again? You know, Doc's chosen starter over our #5 best statistical QB of all time?

King is a better RB than Knox. Knox is a different runner, his game suited the game yesterday better, for sure and he is a hell of a RB. King will have a higher YPC and probably more yards by the end of the year.

  • Our oline averages 315 lbs.  they are run blockers.  We avg over 5.0 ypc but abandoned the run.  That’s a first down every 2 carries.  Coaches lost the game.

An abundance of caution is given anytime it even might be a neck injury. No reason not to trust what i was told that night after the game, they've never been wrong before, i just passed on the info. Thats what this board is for.

  • With that crappy of an offensive showing in the 2nd half a good coach would have tried his backup QB.  Doc has always been too stubborn to change.  Would not have hurt a thing to see if putting Thompson in would have given them some offensive improvement.

  • Any qb on our roster could have beaten Boise State last night.  All they had to do was the hand the ball off every play.

For a three year starter Litton did squat. Head case and glad he is gone. He is the primary reason the 2016 debacle happened. Cancer.

First we needed some decent OL guys who didn’t get whipped like a red headed step child. Wow! That’s was brutal to watch.

I am gonna call Doc and tell him to start AT against OU.

  • Green is not a QB anywhere but the program you read. I’ve watched Fodor, Pederson, Payton, Pennington, Leftwich, Hill, and Cato. Those my friends are QBs. Docs issue is he continually recruits athletes not QBs. Cato is his outlier. Green is just an athlete trying to play QB. The problem with this is Doc never has the QB run the ball.  The offensive play calling yesterday was to “protect” the QB. You will never win big games like this. Recruit someone that can read a defense and hit the receivers.
