  • Green is not a QB anywhere but the program you read. I’ve watched Fodor, Pederson, Payton, Pennington, Leftwich, Hill, and Cato. Those my friends are QBs. Docs issue is he continually recruits athletes not QBs. Cato is his outlier. Green is just an athlete trying to play QB. The problem with this is Doc never has the QB run the ball.  The offensive play calling yesterday was to “protect” the QB. You will never win big games like this. Recruit someone that can read a defense and hit the receivers.

Has nothing to do with Doc. He has no input, regarding offensive or defensive scheme. It’s the problem of the OC, if anyone. As far as the qb, I think he’s a good qb. Protection was an issue at times, although some of those guys on the oline played very well. Penalties affect play calling. There were some balls that should’ve been caught. Etc. Those plays where the OC tries to get cute also causes a lot of issues, regarding rhythm and flow. They should’ve kept it simple. He would’ve had a better game.

Did you see Boise’s TRUE freshman QB? Did you see him stand in read the D and deliver the pass knowing he would get hit? We have had that 1 time under Doc and that was Cato. Green is not it

The true freshmen was a 4 star QB that many schools wanted. He’ll be a Heisman finalist before he’s done. Green was a 2 star recruit, like most of our kids. The OL sucked bad and our play calling in the second half didn’t help.

Looking forward to all the calls to Doc program on Thursday asking why AT isn’t starting.

Then explain to me how we get these OC’s that put up all points at schools prior to coming here and they arrive and we can’t score sh@t against good teams?  Are the OCs allowed to play who they want or does Doc have final say? Nobody knows but we have have a pattern and it all reverts back to the Head Coach.

I thought we always heard stars dont mean anything? And what was Chad and byron? They seemed to be coached up into great players. IG mechanis are so bad he will never be good against quality oponents imo. You cant throw off your back foot and just fling it out there the way he does and be consistent.

I would ask why the running game is not the featured component of our offense when it's clearly our best weapon.

  • Good luck, guys, trying to get a call through to Doc that has even the slightest hint of being "critical" or asks a truly relevant question that requires Doc to give a rational and detailed objective replay aside from the usual "coach speak"!!

Similarly, the same applies to Hamrick's call in show which proceeds Doc's show and is tightly "monitored" and scripted by Hamrick, Mike Kirtner and his son!!

  • What are the numbers to the call in show? We could all lie about what we plan to ask/say and then hit them with questions that need to be asked.

  • Yep, say on thing and then hit them. They can't react that fast. I'm waiting on my call tomorrow to not reduce my donation, and ill ignore it. I stated my reason in the email.

OU has been a traditionally big draw. Since 2010, 2 of the 3 matchups are in the top 20 all time attended games, both over 30k, and averaging 31k since 2010. Do we get 25k saturday?

We have lost 30 games since 91, in the Joan. Doc is responsible for 15 of those losses in 9 years. Snyder claims 12 in 5 years, and Pruett 3, in 9 years, to WMU (eventual title game opponent), a good Toledo and very good Troy team. We all know the quality of losses from the other bums.

You hit on the key word - coaching. Chad and Byron had a QB coach, not to mention played for an HC that valued offense and points. From what I gather, during Docs tenure, we have never had an OC that was a true QB coach. That and Doc is a D and special teams guy, old school. Plus, I don't think IG is the sharpest tack in the box.

Chad , Byron, Cato - all three were passionate students of the game and wanted to learn. Hill, Litton, etc. not so much. The jury is still out on IG.

As I said, I look forward to the calls/texts to Docs show, asking why AT will not start. Good luck getting those on the air. LOL!

Lol jury is still out on a guy who had 56 yards in a game and half of them on one play on a catch and run, with a 13 qbr. Lol. Come on man.

  • I have to agree with goherd. I like to get him riled up sometimes. I don't think AT is some stud but I also think anyone on this board could produce a QBR of 13. Even my old butt could get a 13.
