  • From the Matt Sarz sports blog-

    ESPNU
11/17 6pm "Conference USA Basketball" - Yes, you read that correctly and I did a double take when I saw it.  Maybe a small package of ESPNU games is replacing what C-USA lost moving away from beIN Sports.  Wake Forest at Charlotte is the only C-USA game scheduled for that day.

I would think that CUSA basketball could be somewhat attractive for someone to pickup. UTSA and WKU we know would be attractive this year. A revamped UTEP will be on display this year. As we saw last year MTSU was getting much better by season's end and will be formidable, I would think.
La Tech is always good basketball and of course our style can always be exciting to watch.

  • Maybe, eventually, MU will be able to again lure teams like the ACC's Wake Forest to the CAM.  That, obviously, will be a key because the ESPN folks want some attractive match ups and some "name" teams.

  • Fingers crossed they take more than just the 10 Bein had. Maybe with all the ACC games going to the ACC network ESPNU will have more space to fill.

  • ESPNU? I thought it was something really important like the Dumont Network coming back to carry CUSA.
