    0-1 FG

NFL doesn’t understand he’s a way better P and kickoff man than FG kicker.  He couldn’t make FG in college.

  • Two problems for Vedvik before the Buffalo game... he wasn't brought over to the Jets in time to get any looks at the field or practice on it, never saw the field until warmups before the game, so no time to adjust. And his warmups were bad as shown after his extra point miss, he was hooking the ball too much even then.

On the FG miss... low bad mishandled snap messed up his timing, FG attempt went wide right.

With that said, you gotta perform, opportunities to overcome for kickers are few and far between if you don't.

Also... former Herd player Darryl Roberts called for a hold on a pass play not even involving his covered receiver, the hold negated an interception.

Not a good day so far for the former Marshall players on the Jets.

  • I don’t think Darryl Roberts has given up more than 1 completion in the game.  He’s cruising.  Neville Hewitt is playing well.  Lots of tackles and an Int

Holds happen. That one happened at an unfortunate time. But, the Jets two leading tacklers are Roberts and Neville Hewitt with 6 apiece.

Hewitt also has a TFL and an INT.

  • I was hoping Vedvik would step up and come through. Hopefully, the Jets will give him another chance. It feels good to see 3 former Herd players on the same NFL team.

  • Looks like Vedvik and Antonio Brown both need a psychologist. Vedvik was 5/5 in 1st preseason game this year with Ravens.
"Too many people are thinking of security instead of opportunity; they seem more afraid of life than of death"  – James F. Byrnes

Government is the most dangerous institution known to man. Throughout history it has violated the rights of men more than any individual or group of individuals could do: it has killed people, enslaved them, sent them to forced labor and concentration camps, and regularly robbed and pillaged them of the fruits of their expended labor. ~ JOHN HOSPERS

Maybe a hypnotist would be better for Vedvik.  Make him believe that he is still in that first preseason game!!!

  • He’s a punter who can also kick field goals. Not a field goal kicker who can also punt. There’s the problem.
