  • I hate to hear that King is no longer on the team.  Best of luck to him on his future journeys.

Looks like an opportunity for Evans.  Go Herd!!!

  • Only getting 2 touches in the second half probably had something to do with it. JMO

  • WOW....can we dismiss DOC.

HTF does Doc keep his job. So sick of this crap....save the BS about violation of team rules too. He's been here for over 3 years with no serious issues. Plus, if Doc keeps recruiting kids with "questionable" character then that's on him.

  • Doc loves throwing away talent. I'd be mad too if i got no touches in tbe entire second half at Boise. I dunno what he did, but I know when you show yourself up as a home run hitting RB, and he likes someone else thats maybe just a little less talented, your days are numbered.

  • Being mad at lack of carries and getting kicked off the team are two different things. Why not just play out the season and transfer at the end of the season if you wish.

  • I also hate to hear about Tyler King dismissed.... But wish everyone would wait until word slips out about what caused the dismissal.

If anyone thinks they know Doc caused the problem, odds are King really did something totally wrong to get dismissed instead of suspension or other penalty....

Many on this board continue with the thought READY, FIRE, AIM... shoot at whatever they think is the target. Sometimes cows get shot when the person firing thought he/she saw a deer or bear or whatever...

Hold your fire until the leaks begin to come out.

I also hate to hear King is dismissed.

It doesn't matter the reason. Doc is NOT a good recruiter when you remove the guys who never finish their careers here. Way to much attrition and not enough rings....DISMISS DOC.

I completely agree. For all we know, it could be something inconsequential or the guy could be the next Stew Butler. I don't know and I don't think anyone here does, either. The fact that it wasn't leaked already and there weren't any rumors floating around makes me think it happened in the past 24 hours and was bad enough for an immediate dismissal. It's hard to believe that something like locker room venting would be enough but who knows.

I'll withhold of judgement of the guy or Doc's handling of the situation until we know more.

  • Called around. It seems that Tyler King was seen eating at Stewart's Hotdogs over the weekend. Marshall said this was something they couldn't allow.

  • Some posters on here really believe that they know more about football than say Bob Pruitt.  I can understand being frustrated, pissed off, and the such but remember you are not an expert at football.  What I can say for a fact is that most all football recruits at MU love Doc.  I have heard that from many of his former players.  Again, you can state your personal BS but don't post what you are not-a football coach at MU.  And the best for Tyler wherever he goes.

Agreed.  King lost a fumble at Boise, on some teams that is reason enough for a player to ride the bench for a while.  Knox and Evans are more than capable of carrying the load provided the offensive line gives them some room to run.  If TK was dismissed good luck to him.

Every running back loses a fumble every now and then.  We all know once you get in Doc's doghouse, you're there for awhile.

  • There's two different sides to everything. I'd like to know what rules were broken. Tyler had to do something pretty bad to get dismissed from the team. What ever the reason, I'm holding judgement remember Tiquan Lang? We all were fired up over his dismissal once it came out, we know why Lang was dismissed. Damn, we're now officially "Attrition U".......

  • 100 guys on a team...you are going to lose some..take 100 students at MU and the amount that don’t finish is a higher rate then the players we lose.

I hear ya'.  Same ol' stuff just a different season and player.  Really doesn't matter who is at fault!!  King was dismissed.  Wish him well!

BTW, hope MU's luck with OU changes (Doc's 2-4 record against Solich is just peachy)!  Hope the team can avoid the penalties and turnovers.   :-\

  • Who remembers Doc's three automatic dismissals, carrying a weapon (gun possession), hitting/inappropriately touching a female, and ??????????????????/

This has been a rule since Day One for / with Doc.  Not saying either/any of the three happened, but let's be honest, if they did, everyone knows the rules.
