Was with him last weekend in TN. He got to meet us for his younger brother's college football game. He said he feels great and his shot is "on point" (lol) right now. I asked him was he working on his dribble and he said he definitely has been. I would love to see him hit a few 3's and then when they come rushing out at him, give a little head fake, two dribbles and hang on the rim for a minute or two. (without the technical of course). That would make them start thinking a mili-second about trying to block the jumper. Give him time to get it off or drive right past them.
That's MY game plan for him. Danny may have something totally different in mind, lol.
Glad to hear it about Jannson, JReese (Also hope his younger brother has a safe and successful football season, personally and team wise). Believe Jannson with a better ability to fake the three and dribble drive to the hole gives the Herd another, and more potent, offensive weapon. We know he has the trey. And he certainly has the size and athleticism, IMO, to finish at the goal. Then, too, there's also the 3rd option of forcing an opposing player to come off a Herd player in the opposite corner and try to help defend Jannson at the rim, leaving Jannson with another option of passing out to the open teammate for an uncontested corner 3!! This may be, although a young team overall, the one in Danny's tenure to date to have most diverse offensive options, and potentially the most POTENT going forward!!
