It doesn't matter what it looks like. It's the fact that the game is only seen by 3k people.
My grandparents wanted to watch the Ohio game. Looked all over the place for it before they called me. I had to break it to them and tell them it wasn't on TV for them to watch.
That's the way I watch too. It looks like any other TV broadcast with Fire Stick on Facebook Watch
You're both correct, though in fairness 3k streams probably equates to more than 3k sets of eyeballs, 129.
Based strictly on the my experience with the OU game where I watched the last 5:30 or so live on a Chromebook in a hotel room, it did take me a couple of attempts to get to a stream without spam. I went to the FB page and searched Ohio vs Marshall and that landed me on that page the wanted me to sign onto another account. NOT COOL!!!! And that is one more reason why FB is unsatisfying...one should never have to play 'where's Waldo' or have to refer back to the confusing Herdzone site in order to actually watch the game. IF someone is an actual casual fan wanting to check in on the Herd game, that guy would likely do the same search that I did and give up immediately as soon as that sign-in page appeared.
I did watch the replay via a Facebook Watch on my Fire Stick the next day. And as HM said, the stream looked great, which is a huge improvement from last fb & bb seasons where the Fire Stick did not work well. HOWEVER, I had to try searching 5 or 6 times in order to find the game link. Again, not cool.
HM, the problem with FB streaming isn't at all about quality. It's about the inconvenient access. OU vs MU should've been the NFLN game. But once again this conference manages to F-up by somehow having the best or 2nd best platform being the one that gets the last choice in choosing games.
