  • We should have had about the same margin on them, losing our RB and the 3rd quarter lapse killed our mo

  • Louisiana was picked as the preseason favorite to win  their division in Sunbelt. They are currently 3-1. Maybe the Sunbelt is the best conference among the MAC; CUSA and Sunbelt?

  • Watch that game. Marshall caused this loss. The Bobcats has nothing left after last weeks game. Several players where out. They had little left in the ones that did play...

We talked about that after the game, the MU defense punished the OU running backs. OU had five turnovers today.

Totally agree, no energy, no inordinate receptions, no running backs to sustain drives; hated the result, but you could see it happening from mid first quarter.

  • I would take it for what it is, and stop trying to rationalize it. LL is probably better than us. 10 years of Doc ball, recruiting, etc....and LL probably beats us at home.

Can you ever allow us to have a football thread on this board without your constant bitching. Every football thread on here doesn't need to be about Doc, that gets so tiresome.

And to think he had just TWO carries in the 2nd half against Boise.

  • Bet you that OU QB Rourke didn't look like an all universe player against Louisiana like he did against the Herd  Oh, and Appy State of the Sun Belt beat the UNC Tar Heels today!

Rourke looked very ordinary against ULL

  • Sunbelt is a better league.  Herd’s defensive depth is going to be an issue.  We need new players to get in and experienced.

He looked ordinary against us too, his receivers had a special kind of game; and we blew at least two contain responsibilities on his long run.

Also remember, Gaines dropped a TD pass; our game should have been every bit as commanding as Louisiana's was.  They are not more talented than us.  OU was worn out and it showed.
