Absolute disgusting what the corrupt FBI did to General Flynn.  The indictment of those Russians was nothing but an illusion for the fake news media to sell to the brainwashed American public.  Mueller had no evidence against General Flynn and ignored the evidence that would have cleared him.  I hope that AB Bill Barr punishes Mueller and his team of Deep State Democrat henchmen.

  • What’s funny is how many libs are fine with the FBI and other gov agencies framing and setting up a general for political retribution.

Ideology over country.  It’s the lib/leftist way.  They won’t realize their own stupidity until they get a red communist boot up shoved in their ass

These liberal idiots are okay with all these Nazi tactics being used against America citizens.  Roger Stone has been ruined and is facing dying in prison over an investigation that was based on FBI lies.  If an investigation is based on lies anything in the trial should be thrown out.  Can't wait for President Trump to pardon him and for AG Barr to prosecute Comey and his lying FBI cohorts.

Fox News: DOJ drops case against Michael Flynn, in wake of internal memo release

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/drops-doj-case-against-michael-flynn-in-wake-of-internal-memo-release

    Quote
The announcement came in a court filing, with the department saying it is dropping the case "after a considered review of all the facts and circumstances of this case, including newly discovered and disclosed information." The DOJ said it had concluded that Flynn's interview by the FBI was "untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI's counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn" and that the interview was "conducted without any legitimate investigative basis."

Very rare for the DOJ to drop a fed case when a guilty plea was entered.

  • This from Professor Robert Reich..

    Robert Reich

The Justice Department has abruptly dropped its prosecution of Michael Flynn, Trump’s first national security adviser. Flynn had previously plead guilty twice to lying to F.B.I. agents and had cooperated with investigators during the Mueller investigation, before completely reversing his position and engaging in a months-long attack against prosecutors and the F.B.I. (Trump repeatedly voiced his support for Flynn in recent months, raising concerns that he would pardon the former general.)

(I cannot overstate the gravity of this gross miscarriage of justice, and how dangerous this is for our democracy’s future). (Michael Flynn is getting zero jail time for (lying to the F.B.I, undermining prosecutors, and betraying the country) — while countless Americans are dying of coronavirus in prison because they were jailed on technicalities or parole violations. Meanwhile, (Attorney General William Barr has turned the Justice Department into nothing more than a political tool for Trump to wield against his enemies and withdraw against his friends).

(This is how dictatorships are built).

  • Released evidence shows the FBlie was corrupt in the Flynn case.  Now, the hunters have become the hunted.  Comey and Schrok will be the first prosecuted.  The spying and corruption behind this will get Obama too.  Evidence is surfacing that Mueller knew there was no evidence for his investigation, yet he continued it.  Mueller will go down too.  Everyone knows the list of the Democrat Deep State traitors that are going down.  Trump will become President for another 4 years.

Man you need to read up on the use of parentheses.

    Federal Judge...

(When he first acknowledged lying to the FBI) more than two years ago, Michael Flynn brought the investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election to the doorstep of the White House)and President Donald Trump's inner-circle.

(While he was then the (fourth ex-Trump aide) to face criminal charges) in special counsel Robert Mueller’s inquiry, the former national security adviser was the first to be prosecuted for conduct during Trump’s presidency when he lied about his contacts with then-Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

In subsequent months, (Flynn repeatedly acknowledged his crimes) and was once moments away from accepting his fate as a convicted felon.

On Thursday, the Justice Department took its boldest step yetto cast doubt on the the legitimacy of Mueller’s investigation by abruptly dropping its case against the retired Army general.

The decision, which already has revived fresh speculation about Attorney General William Barr's close relationship with the White House, comes just more than a week after Trump claimed that newly released FBI notes outlining agents' strategy in advance of their 2017 interview in the retired Army general's White House office exonerated Flynn.

(The decision by the Justice Department flies in the face of a searing rebuke of Flynn by the federal judge who was weighing his sentencing in December 2018.

("Arguably, you sold your country out,) (U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan said then. "I'm going to be frank with you. This is a very serious offense. (It involves making false statements to the FBI on the premises of the White House) – in the West Wing.")

  • There are a whole bunch of people who at the very least are going to be facing civil suits for malicious prosecution.

I'm doing that to give (a special emphasis) that so many seem to over look on here..
Instead of using parentheses to get the attention. I'll start Italicized to get my point across.

It is what is called a process crime and the guilty plea was made under duress.

If there was justice Comey, Mueller, and the whole team of lawyers involved would be disbarred at least and probably be sued for malicious prosecution under 42 U.S.C. § 1983:

"Every person who, under color of any statute, ordinance, regulation, custom, or usage, of any State or Territory or the District of Columbia, subjects, or causes to be subjected, any citizen of the United States or other person within the jurisdiction thereof to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured by the Constitution and laws, shall be liable to the party injured in an action at law, suit in equity, or other proper proceeding for redress, except that in any action brought against a judicial officer for an act or omission taken in such officer’s judicial capacity, injunctive relief shall not be granted unless a declaratory decree was violated or declaratory relief was unavailable. For the purposes of this section, any Act of Congress applicable exclusively to the District of Columbia shall be considered to be a statute of the District of Columbia."

Translation: General Flynn is going to get his money back and a whole lot more.
"On rainy days, the early justices would enliven case conferences with wine. On other days, even if the sun was shining, Chief Justice John Marshall would order wine anyway, saying, 'Our jurisdiction is so vast that it must be raining somewhere.' "
