From what I read about General Flynn is that he has served his country with honor, integrity, and he is a highly decorated general. I'm not against General Flynn getting what's due of him back. Our judicial system isn't always a 100% correct even on the federal level. I was merely pointing what a federal judge said to Flynn. I can't comment to much about his case, because I just haven't paid that much attention to be honest..
It's more than that. What was done to this man was malicious. More than malicious. It was fooking evil.
That federal judge took a guilty plea because General Flynn didn't want to fight anymore. It was costing him money and he could not fight the federal government and the fawning press that kept cheering for evidence of a Russian collusion conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians that clearly and absolutely did not exist. They were threatening to do the same thing to his son. This was obvious duress. It was a setup as the documents clearly admit. Those things are the very definition of duress and it is why he took the guilty plea. Completely planned. For solely political purposes. Well probably not just political, because that whole upper echelon of the Justice Department was corrupt and they knew if some one started kicking over the rocks a whole bunch of them were going to the hoosgow. Now that is happening. If there is any justice these people will go to jail for a long time and will die in the gutter. They disgraced their offices and they disgraced the oath as attorneys they took to defend the Constitution, the same one I took. These people literally make me sick to my stomach with what they did, and then preen about it.
That same federal judge did not hear any evidence. He took the plea for what it was. The admonition is not unusual. If evidence would have been presented--after maybe a couple of years of discovery, jail time, paying for lawyers with money he didn't have--things would have been different.
This is the kind of fascism and Gestapo tactics that you are always decrying here. Think about that when you try to defend these people and what they did.
