Topic: When was the last time Marshall played a regular season game on ESPN?

When was the last time Marshall played a regular season game on ESPN? I don't mean playing on ESPN, 2, ESPN 3, or even a bowl game. Since we left the MAC, we haven't had a regular game on ESPN. I could be wrong on this one... It's been so long, I'm trying to figure it out..

This is probably our first ever Saturday regular season home game on ESPN.

Ball State 2002, KSU 2005, and WVU 2007 were I believe all on ESPN2.

Didn't we play, and beat, Ohio U. in Huntington during Pruett's era on a Friday with around a noon start?  Seem to recall that the game was on an ESPN outlet.   It was the game in which our D was outstanding, holding the Bob Cats to just a little above zero total yardage, IIRC!

I think we did it was like the 41-3 game or something.  WE held Ohio to about 50 yards total offense.  Damn we were good.

We all were fed up with Snyder  when he was here by not being able to build on or equal Pruett`s success.
Many of us including me, thought he was a bad coach.
Now I look back and see what he did in a far better CUSA and believe now that he would have been just as successful as Doc has been in press present CUSA.

Not to ever want to cast a shadow on a fellow Marshall alum, but his coaching in the MU vs The U of Miami game when the U was down is something I will never forget...the announcers over all sports programs showed this locker room and continually questioned and mentioned this: No Coach in the locker room throughout the pregame. The team was just sitting there dressed ready to go out on the field and still no coach; they were just sitting there looking at one another...we were flat and fwiw we never showed up...
I truly never understood Marks coaching logic behind this or these types of coaching decisions...

Since leaving MU I believe he was a coach, perhaps a coordinator, in the B10, Mich. State perhaps.  Not sure if he was forced out or left on his own.  Wasn't he also at Youngstown State?  Not sure if that is where he is now.  His coaching Faux Pas versus Bill Snyder's Kansas State team in that game at the JOAN ranks right up there pretty close to some of Doc's brain farts which snatched defeat from the Jaws of victory against WVU, also at the Joan!!
