  • In the newsletter from my PAC, they included an Electoral College Timeline, which I thought others may be interested in:

    December 8, 2020:  Deadline for States to resolve election disputes

    December 14, 2020:  Electors meet and cast votes for President and Vice President

    December 23, 2020:  Deadline for all electors' ballots to be e-transmitted to the President of the Senate

    January 6, 2021: Congress meets in Joint Session to count votes

    January 21, 2021:  Inauguration

  • Im betting it wont go that smoothly. The courts will be very busy this election.

  • It's interesting that the new Congress will count the votes, not the current.

    You are correct.  New Congress is sworn in and convened on January 3rd.
