  • 18 or 21 WILL lose. And 9 or 16 WILL lose.

Hopefully we did enough to move up and don't get skipped if 16,17,18, & 19 all lose. Another great week of opportunity.

Would be great to get in top 20 at 19 or so.

  • I hope the poll voters didn't see our first half.

  • Indiana will leap frog us, Penn State will stay above us. We might move to #21, but i wouldn't rule out anything, including us droppiing out, though i think it's unlikely.

Is it just me or is Penn State overrated every doggone year?

  • Ranked Meechegan is in a battle with #21 Minestrone's Gophers in a Big 10 clash.  #25 Coastal Carolina looked impressive in going to 5-0 with a solid win over GA Southern and Liberty is also unbeaten, 6-9, after walloping another weakling, CUSA's Southern Miss.

One thing that may hurt MU in the polls going forward, given our overall pathetically weak conference, is that Doc Holliday has apparently never heard of "style" points, much less tried to attain them!!

Do you think the voters watched the game?? They will look at the score of 20-9 and bump them up a couple spots due to others who lost.

I'm sure. Those writers don't watch many mid major games.
We need to be concerned about Boise passing us soon.
I just watched their first half against Utah State.  Up 28-0 at the half.
You know the writers will jump on then as soon as they can

  • Have to remember that some of the pollsters haven't been ranking any of the teams unless they had already played a game. It will be interesting to see how that effects the polls.

The good news is we have been ranked for a couple of weeks now so most of the pollsters are already used to having us ranked. That should definitely help.

I 'm very impressed with Cincy.  I think they deserve the Access Bowl more than anyone else if they run the table.

  • CHAMPISHERE forgot to note that #117 ranked WVU went down 34-27 at Texas Tech.  That should shake up the "Bottom Ten" quite a bit!  :D

  • 3 of the 5 ahead of us lost already today (AP poll).  SMU is iffy, and still hope they lose to give us a further boost and since Cincy has a tougher road to hoe vs. Memphis and Houston and at UCF and Tulsa. Not only that but P5 teams will move up over Cincy over time bringing them back towards us.

Doubt they’ve even heard of Stadium like most everyone else, much less watch it.

  • The first thing a voter is going to think when they see the 20-9 score is “Marshall gave up single digit points.”

  • Only thing that might hurt us is that 6 or 7 AP voters, including Brett McMurphy, have refused to rank teams who haven't played a game. So OSU, Michigan, Boise, etc are gonna start showing up in their polls which might drive down our vote totals a little.

But that's a relatively small portion of the poll. As mentioned above, I think voters are gonna focus on us giving up only 9 points more than anything. I expect to see us around 19 tomorrow.

The game was on Fox Regional and I'm sure they have heard of that. Stadium simply produced the game
