  • Very impressive defense. They make plays when it counts and keep teams from scoring.

  • This defense is VERY fun to watch. They fly to the football and like to hit.

  • I’m just glad we can make open field tackles especially our corners

  • Those stats and the 7-0 record indicate that a great big number of Kudos need to be given to DC Brad Lambert and all of his assistants, IMO!!!

Tackling might be the strongest suit of the whole team to date.
Even when an assignment has obviously been blown, the pursuit & tackling has minimalized the damage.
In memory of Dr Daniel P Babb who taught so much to so many.

definitely tackling well this year.  May be the best I have seen our team tackle in a long time.

  • The speed of our defense and tackling in space is a major improvement from last year.

The only D in the conference I would compare us with is FAU.

  • Nazeeh Johnson summed it up: “We’ve got a very fast defense, so you can take a shot knowing your brother is right behind you to assist you.”

Nice to have players from opposite side of the field in on plays as Landon pointed out.

Credit to O’Hara, a top notch athlete, for testing the D.  The good thing is, the D has now seen just about every type of QB play.

Hope LaFevre stays healthy and the rest of the KT come along

O'Hara will help us going into the Charlotte game.  UNCC plays a similar type of offense and their QB, Reynolds, plays a similar style to O'Hara.  I actually think O'Hara is better than Reynolds, but Charlotte has a better supporting cast.
