Anybody hear about the fight among players in the parking lot?  Wife has a friend that saw it while driving by the stadium.

If football, just chalk it up to a couple of players frustrated by not having a real game for 3 weeks and just tired of beating up on each other in practice.  Letting off some steam, IMO!

The consensus seems to be a few players go into it a while ago. Nothing more, nothing less. I wouldn’t doubt we have a flare up or two line this every year.  Some dude on the other board claiming a massive brawl. If that’s the case someone would have seen it and been all over social media with it.

I have no idea exactly what happened. But I have been hearing from quite a few people that should know, that it was a large fight and big deal. I just have no reason to doubt the people that told me what happened. So is this the main reason we aren’t playing Charlotte?

If there was such a big incident then there would be some video leaked in social media and a police record.  Everyone has their phone on them 24/7 so if it happened it would have been shared and posted by someone.

Nothing is a secret anymore.  At least one side of the fight would post something if it was such a big brawl as been comically posted by some.  May have been an argument and some pushing but if it involved the amount of people some say we would all know and there would be video in some platform of social media.

Something absolutely happened. There’s no doubting that the rumor is too specific and random to not have at least some amount of truth. So why is there no video? Is it cuz it was only 2 guys? 3 guys? At what point are there enough parties involved that it couldn’t have happened unless there was video?

Multiple people are relaying eye witness accounts (remember this thread was posted a couple weeks ago), or insider confirmation. But since It’s illogical, to you, the only reasonable answer is that maybe there was pushing and nothing more. Sorry but that’s based on nothing but wishful thinking.

Driving down 20th or 3rd would have gotten video in hopes of going viral.  Did a fight happen, more than likely yes. Was it a wrestlemania type brawl, more than likely NO. is it being blown up out of proportion right now. Yes

This was debunked by knowledgeable people who report on Marshall and have access inside the football program. Like you, I don’t know if it happened or not, these things happen in many programs and the lockdown has likely exacerbated these issues. Speaking of assumptions, I often look at the poster reporting and while everyone is entitled to an opinion, there are a select few on this board who will take every opportunity to say something negative about our football program.
