That was a huge win. That team is good and played #6 Illinois the entire game back and forth. Danny has a ton of options this year.

i don't discount where Herd is at, we're a good team, but Ohio isn't that athletic or quick and they don't play with much emotion. it's hard to tell

I mean... they did everything but beat Illinois a couple of weeks ago.

I know what you’re saying today though, but I think Marshall’s defense had a lot to do with that. Disrupted them greatly.

Coach D noted the play of all those off the bench today. Seemed happy with effort by all, including two frosh, Obinna and Early. Good for him to get them in as frosh during important stretches of the game versus a quality opponent. Can only pay DIVIDENDS going forward this season for these young freshmen, IMO.

Beyers is either spectacular or a turnover machine. He had some great moments today. That dunk brought me out of my seat. But he tries to force things and makes to many mistakes. If he will just pull that back and be smart he can really help us.

Coach D mentioned the exact same thing re: Byers turnovers in his post game comments. Says he still needs to work on that aspect of his game. Also indicated that Byers' dunk should be on ESPN's Sports Center in his opinion. Said in 10 years in the NBA he had seen very little plays/dunks to match or compare with it!

West absolutely drove Preston crazy . Yes, he got his average but sure had to work for it. You could see repeatedly he was frustrated

I think the most beautiful play is a layup on an assist from a teammate with a free throw to make a three the old fashioned way.
