Where does that leave us with possible bowls?

I think Appy State (although we have already played and beat them) or Memphis would have been a really good matchup for us. I am gonna be pissed once we win C-USA Championship and we go to a bowl playing against CMU or Toledo and get hosed in our pick of bowls.


Then again,  there area lot of teams opting out of playing bowl games this season so we might have a shot at a bowl we would not regularly attend.

MAC champs could be a possibility; more than likely that would be Buffalo, which has a pretty decent team, strong rushing attack.  Other G5 possibility would be the loser of the Sun Belt Championship game, either Coastal Carolina or Louisiana.  Other than that, hopefully could fill one of those Power slots in a lower bowl if enough Power teams opt out of bowl play, like Pitt and Boston College have already done.  Too bad some of those bowl predictions that have come out haven't paired us up with WVU somewhere.  Just to hear and see the NEER fans moan, groan and squirm would be worth it!!

That would just be the icing on the cake to this season to be able to play WVU in a bowl! After everything we have been through this season, (along with a lot of other teams), to play The WHO would be awesome!!!

I question whether WVU would agree to play us in a bowl, especially if they had any other bowl option.

The league does most of the Wheeling and dealing.  The league is still obligated to send teams to M9bile, Cure Bowl and New Orleans. All 3 vs SBC teams. There can be no dealing until those three are filled
