Are you watching the same game as me? Beyers is the only reason this game is close right now.

Yep I’m watching and he has played well at times. But he has done some boneheaded plays also. Never saw a shot he didn’t like no matter how difficult it is.

I didn’t think Marko took a bad 3 on the last shot. I feel like he rushed it and could have taken his time, but he was open with around 5 on the shot clock.

West, Kinsey and Taylor 3-14 from the field.   Can’t win with that.  Still waiting for a few experienced guys (outside of Kinsey and West) to contribute offensively.  Not sure how starters can disappear like this???

Toledo has done a nice job on West and Kinsey. Get these guys plus Williams involved - game over. Coach has some work to do. Free throws have been huge similar to Wright state, keeping Marshall in the game.

To be down 4 at half playing at least 10 players is not a big deal. Dan always does this in the first half’s unless it’s a big game. How else are you going to keep players sharp and get them to develop. He will tighten it up in the 2nd half.

As a team we looked a little disinterested at the start of the game otherwise we would be up 10 at half.

That’s not the point. You don’t think he chucks up some wild shots? He makes 2-3 good plays and then tries to be michael Jordan and become a one man team. He has a ton of talent and potential but just calm down and play within the system. We totally stopped playing team ball and he was one of many reasons.

The big thing that stands out to me we are getting out rebounded 24-15. We haven't been beaten on the boards this year like this.

Beyers has taken one bad shot in my opinion. He's 3-6, 3-5 from 3. 5-7 from the FT line and has 14 points against two turnovers. If before the season you asked me if I'd be ok with that stat line from Beyers I'd say HELL YES! He's played well tonight. And Jannson has played nicely on the defensive end tonight.

We're probably gonna lose this one but it isn't because of Beyers. (Although he did just take a bad 3 there). Kinsey has 4 fouls now and we are down five 62-57.

Agree. West needs to be taken out. He has lost confidence.
