  • Knox's stats in our best wins vs Rice/UAB:

Appy- 28-138 (16 carries in first half)
La Tech- 32-126 (17 carries in first half)
FAU- 25-102 (12 carries in first half)

Rice- 20-78 (7 carries in first half)
UAB- 17-68 (8 carries in first half)

We basically took the ball out of the hands of our All SR/Line plus All conference RB  and put into the Freshmen's hands.

  • That’s right!  Aaron Taylor was confused too.

These coaches do not know how to implement a true multiple back running game system.  Uab went 3-4 rb deep last night in the game.

Ny Giants won Super Bowl running jacobs, ward and bradshaw.

    Both coaches are clueless.

  • Spot on..UAB time of possession 42 minutes to the Herd 18.  And to think we could have won the game until the Gilmore blunder.  Make a defensive stop and kick a FG and win.

No way should this team have lost either of the last 2.

  • No, we should have lost. We had slightly better talent, but they have much better coaching.

People always say “we shouldn’t lose to Team X”, but when we have inferior game plans and execution, why should we win?

Where was our talent better?  We have Beckett.  He's our best player by a mile.  After that not sure.  Knox is a hard worker.  He grinded himself into the player he is.  Wr position they were much better.  And their best wr opted out to prepare for the draft.  Their De's could be drafted.  They had better talent in my opinion and better coaches too.

We have an outstanding running back in the mold of Knox, Knowledge McDaniel, recruited by ND and others, Holiday won’t play him over Evans. Yep, clueless.

In a true multiple back system all 3 could be playing.  This is CUSA football.  Clarke knew what to do and how to do it.  So much better he's just so much better.  And his players really seemed to like him.  They came here to win a championship and we were not prepared.  Our players were flat because they are bored with the game-plans, team roles from 1st string to last string and motivational tactics of the coaching staff.  Clapping after plays only goes so far  ???.  Obvious this team is not hungry.

  • Didn't hurt that UAB's players were bigger, stronger, faster and more athletic.  Add in better coaches - I'm surprised the Herd stayed as close as they did.  The recruiting has really dropped to the point of signing only 2 star, 1 star and no star players.  We all act like we won the lottery if/when we sign a 3 star recruit.

  • Hold up stop giving so much credit to UAB and their talent. There was 1 receiver that hurt us and we didn’t double him. We lost strictly on coaching and coaching alone.

I thought their talent looked as good as our talent did.  Not seeing the superior talent anywhere in the Herds favor.  We played our normal schedule with everyone on even terms we are a 4/6 win team.  We don’t have the horses right now.  And how these coaches failed to see Wells security blanket is Artie Henry is well par for the course.  He gets a few series since the ineffective Keaton returned.  Ridiculous to think Keaton is better.  Keaton has regressed.  The starting wr Corp starts with Henry first.  After that I would just use our running backs.  We do not have wrs like uab I could see that.  And their best wr and ol did not even play.  The best team won.

  • The biggest indictment on them is the fact that we had 2 weeks to prepare for this game and UAB had five days.

UAB only had (41) healthy scholarship players at Rice.  Played us without (2) best offensive players.  UAB is a better football team.
