  • Guess this means he’s out for Friday.  Our game just got way harder.  He was the heart and soul of the D.  My favorite player these past 2 seasons.  I hear B Knox may be next.

  • Alot of mistakes going to be made by these players. Only Josh Ball and Madden have real NFL potential on this team that will.be drafted right now.

I think Beckett has a good shot either as strong safety or if he can bulk up another 15-20 lbs at linebacker.  There are more than a few quality weak side linebackers in the 230-240 lb range.

Can you blame them? Why come back to the cluster?

  • A lot of NFL players are playing under 230 right now.  Beckett has to run well.  What we know is that these guys have not been doing well in the Pro Days.  Who's training these guys?

  • What are his coverage skills? He needs to be close to the size of London Fletcher

Jonathan Vilma was a good NFL linebacker.  Weighed 230.  It can be done but you better have some serious game if you are undersized.  I think he’s a better fit at SS.

Never asked to cover much here it seemed.  Used to run stop.  He has a frame to add about 10-15 more it looks to me if he can run with it.  If not hit 205 and run 4.4.  I time 40s for a living and I see a whole bunch of 4.2.  Happening more and more it seems.  4.3 not like it used to be.  NFL guys hype it but what you see mostly on TV is 4.4-4.5 wr's and rb's.  Bradshaw ran 4.56 and would pull away from defenses in the open field.  Bradshaw crushed the agility and quickness drills.

  • Beckett will find his way through ST first.  He will make a play there at some point and that will be how the story goes.

London Fletcher was my sons basketball coach and his son played on my sons 7 on 7 that just finished up.  Very nice family.

  • London Fletcher is who messed Pennington's career up.  Pennington slid instead of shoulder to shoulder collision a way different career.

  • Best of luck to him either in CFL or at home with his family.  He had a solid career here.  I always like to see the kids who have problems at other schools come here and have solid careers without problems.

Cool. My brother and sister went to John Carroll University when he was there.

How do you know it's going to be a Cluster? I doubt that Doc will be back next year.

You doubt? I don’t know what next year will be but it’s been a cluster lately and 2016?was a total cluster. And last year wasn’t much better. Ever wonder why you never saw a back up quarterback last year?

There’s enough 40 timing needed to make a living?
