  • Leaving for the draft.  He should have called Darius Marshall.  And much as I like B Knox, I don’t see this one panning out.   Hope I’m wrong.

  • Strong late round value pick.  Cramsey failed to feature him as a pass catcher.  For him needs to decide on his fastest weight.  He needs to run his fastest.  Will it be at 215 or 230.  I think he cuts weight now.  Trials and adds or removes weight based on the trial.

  • I remember a few months ago, I posted that I thought Knox would declare at the end of the year and most on here thought I was crazy and said he would for sure very back.

  • I may be wrong but I think part of these guys leaving was fast tracked by the state of the program. It just feels like a 2016 collapse to me. Only difference was that was the whole year and this was at the middle/end of the season. I think there is some major stuff going on behind the scenes.

I don't think I would have said you were crazy, but it's crazy for Knox to leave and declare for the draft unless he's graduating and is just ready to get on with his life.  I'll be very surprised if he is drafted.  If he can run a 4.5, he might get picked up as an undrafted free agent.  I hope I'm wrong and wish him the best.  He's been an outstanding RB for Marshall and was underutilized late in the season.

His leaving offers a gracious opportunity to the younger RBs on the team.

  • Best of luck to him.  He hasn’t been running as hard in the second half of the season.  From my current seats, you can see the holes open.  The kid who broke onto the scene at VT isn’t hitting it as hard as he once did.  I’ve tweeted the past two games to put in Knowledge.  Hopefully we get to see him get some snaps in bowl game.

  • If "Toast" Jackson can play in the NFL anyone of these players can.  Just about anybody on our team it would seem.

Absolutely agree,  he did not run with the same abandon in the last game, I welcome Knowledge who certainly should have played ahead of Evans. Too, we need to get Papillon, a potential game breaker some playing time.

  • I’ll never forget the game he had last season against FAU. One of the best games I’ve seen from a Marshall RB.

    I wish him the best!

All three have their degrees so why risk a career injury. Knox could have carried them to victory if they staff gave him the ball enough in the last two games. Trying to pass when your team won seven games by being run first to pound them and then pass after d was gassed.

  • Players opting out of bowl game for NFL. I don’t understand how this differs from a regular season game? Help me here. Total crap out on your team. However, something smells bad here internally, again! How we put up with this season  over season?

A lots happened since then.   I wouldn't come back if I was under utilized and the way the team fell apart the last few games.   Would you stick around and risk injury and your stock dropping for this clownshow?

I agree 100%. You can have a career ending injury walking the streets of Htgn. If that was the case why didn’t they take the last game off.  Oh I forgot.  They sort of did.

  • Knox has to go nothing left to prove in the college game.  That he can catch?  OC determines that.  No help there.  Shelf life not long for rbs.  Knox has to run fast.  If he does he will be drafted.  His vision and balance might be the best in college football.  4.4 anything on pro day will turn big heads in the scouting community.  Most struggles in scouting anyways.  They look more for things like measurables.

Had we won the conference title and we were playing a bowl game that mattered, dont think they would be opting out. However, I do agree. Something stinks internally. Really stinks.
