Oh I agree. I'd rather stop the run and make them beat us with the pass. Hoping we can get pressure on their QB a bit.

Better play Cavicante in place of Beckett.  Need experience.  We will see, but our D vs their O is not a good matchup for the Herd.  If the Bulls are motivated I don't think we win this game.  Tape to beat us is out.  There is no tape out on how to stop the Bulls offense.  Only how to score on their defense.  Our offense does the same thing every game so it doesn't matter.

Listen, Patterson is a star.  No doubt.  Marshall's defense will have to key on him, swarm to the ball and play as well as they have all year to keep him from going off.

That said, he had two massive games (out of 6) this year - Kent St. he went 36 carries for 410 yards and 8 TDs.  Bowling Green he had 31 carries for 302 yards and 4 TDs.  The rest of the games he was fairly pedestrian - Northern Ill. 20 for 143 (2 TDs); Miami 20 for 73 (2 TDs); Akron 16 for 105 (2 TDs); Ball State 18 for 51 (1 TD), albeit with an injury.

He's great, absolutely.  But he's not Superman.
