It's amazing how little we know about our team. No info, no hype, etc. I never expected such a lack of information and excitement from a first-year coach. I would think he'd want to get the fans fired up about what we have. I hope we're pleasantly surprised on Saturday.
He's actually very active around school and social media. I don't do twitter and such but have seen and heard about some of his tweets. Facebook has a bunch of stuff as well. With practices closed, the local media doesn't have much to go on except player fluff pieces. I like it, gives Navy less to prepare for.
Doc was too open, and it worked to his disadvantage, teams knew what we were doing and local fans always thought, this guy or that guy were going to the next Pennington, Moss or Curry - expectations were through the roof and usually didn't come close to the hype.
