Thank God we aren't in the SBC....Bust would go crazy if we had to play App St instead of Bluefield and Milligan  ::)

Also noticed we are playing Louisiana from the SBC. Million dollar question, will Bust go to the game or not?

The first seven games of the season are at home if you count the exhibition games before we go on the road to play Indiana.  It is interesting that the final two games of the regular season are against WKU.

I only thanked you for the link to the schedule. No picking on Bust - he is not just for the koolaid drinkers - he calls 'em as he see 'em. His practice reports are most welcome.

I'm having a hard time finding 8 losses on that schedule, if that. Maybe a whole lot less if we have the talent I think we have at G.

Best home schedule in a long time except the 2 d2 games. But virtually all midmajors does that and we just saw a bad opponent Saturday in football and never heard the moAning. Go Herd!!!!

Start the season undefeated prior to going to Indiana.  If the team does that, it should not be more than a 5 loss season.

I love DD and want him to succeed and I am excited for season and expect success.  But for a guy that wants money for his program but would rather play a few HS teams rather than money games?starting to scratch my head.

A few Marshall defections on that squad.  No animosity.  I?d just hate to see guys who used to wear the green and white, switch jerseys and work us over.  I was always a fan (and still am) of Jansson.  But I don?t want him and Bennett to beat us.  They will have a good team for sure.

Yeah....why would we want to go on the road and play another legit D1 program when we can host Milligan and Bluefield....pretty sure both are in the same conference as Kentucky Christian LMAO

Football doesn't have scrimmage games, basketball does. I'm glad we play scrub teams in scrimmages, not during the regular season though.

Gotta be pumped about Duquesne, N Iowa, Wright St, Louisiana (only team in the SN that even has a ring to it) UAB, WKU, ODU all coming to the cam this winter. Go Herd!!!

Im all for a tough as can be schedule but we may not realize how hard that is to accomplish . Im hoping the new AD will let us go to some tourneys though . I wonder what DD has to say about this schedule .

Would I like to see a few more name opponents, especially coming into the CAM?  Sure, a no brainer.  But I'll say with 13 OOC games, we only play 5 on the road, and none of the are a "gimme":  at EKU, at Indiana, at Ohio U, at Akron and at Toledo.  Those 5 games should help a lot in preparing the HERD to open the CUSA schedule on the road on New Year's week end, at LA Tech and at Southern Miss, IIRC.

One correction needs to be made:  the game against BC needs to be updated to "BU", as Bluefield College is now Bluefield "University".  Don't want to rile up those Rambling Rams when they come to the CAM!  ;D

As for EKU, I'll be pulling for  A.W.'s team in all EXCEPT ONE GAME this season!  I'll be interested to see what kind of shape and condition for basketball Iran Bennett will be in this season.  If he comes in having dropped a lot of weight, then the question will be what did A-Dub say and do to motivate him that Danny and staff couldn't!!

Well, its about 2 months until they entertain the HERD.  They play the Neers in the Hole 2 weeks or so before playing us.
