Better late than never. Played at MU over half a century ago. Easily at or near the very top of the Pantheon of All Time Herd basketball greats! Glad to see he is finally getting a well deserved Visual, Physical presence on the MU campus, not only for his stellar basketball exploits (Was voted, a few years back, one of the Top 50 all time NBA greats), but what his career at MU meant in a positive manner to our society as a whole!
Hopefully, this will help spur some increased interest in younger generations and future MU students to learn more about Hal's life, in Huntington, at MU, and thereafter!
