Memphis sucked for literally 10 years while in CUSA. As soon (it only took until year two) they went to the AAC they started winning 8 games a year (they've been at 8 or better for 7 straight years) and now everyone on here thinks they will be the next Big 12 pick up.
UTSA, FAU, UAB and who ever else the AAC selects will be better than anything left in CUSA or the Sun Belt after a few years.
Let's be honest, most people on here bashing the AAC and fawning over the Sun Belt are only doing so because they know our chances of going to the AAC at this point are slim to none. It's like when the hottest girl in school turns you down, you say, we'll she wasn't all that pretty anyway.
Everyone keeps saying they wouldn't be interested in what's left in the AAC; well Temple, ECU, SMU, Memphis, Tulsa, South Florida, and if added UTSA, FAU, and UAB would ALL be top 3 teams in either CUSA or the Sun Belt. You all realize every single remaining member (outside of ECU) of the AAC, even Navy, has been in the top 25 in the last 5 years? ECU would run through CUSA and be the 2nd or 3rd best team in the Sun Belt.
