Which loss was more disappointing ECU or Appy?

For me it was definitely ECU.  Marshall was favored against ECU, a bottom feeder or middle of the road AAC team.  Appy has consistently been at the top of the SBC and Appy was favored to win.  Marshall had a short week to prepare and travel to Boone to play Appy.  Marshall had the usual full week to prepare for ECU at home.  I went into the Appy game not expecting to win (or expecting to lose) but expecting a close game.  I went to the ECU game expecting to win.

I expect Huff to win the games he is supposed to win and pick up a few wins in games he isn?t expected to win.

I?m encouraged that we could have and should have won both games.  Both games were close which means to me that we have the talent to compete with any G5 school and beat most G5 schools. 

If both of these games were played again next season, I would expect Huff to have his system in place and win both games.

These games have proven to me that the Herd has the talent to win out in CUSA play.

ECU by far. I felt all along that App would be the best team on our schedule and thought that would be an L. We played well and had a chance to win. ECU wasn?t that good. We should have blown them out.

ECU.  We didn't collapse like a poorly constructed house of cards on a foundation of hot air against Apply.

Ecu for the win(no pun intended)  we had them beat and let them off the hook.  App st is a good program and we were at their house and on a short week.

ECU was a terrible loss. We dominated them for 3.5 quarters.

Good point.  The wheels falling off the way they did in the last 7 minutes or so added to the pain of the ECU loss.
