I agree 100%. Remember what I have been saying and you and others have me hell? I hope CUSA stays together and picks up a JMU and Liberty. But I think the belt is likely and I?m not excited about it without 3-4 going with us.

As quiet as it is in Huntington, I have to think we are still in play for the AAC.

As for CUSA/SBC. Not much difference imo...either way I will support Marshall no matter where we end up.

The fans in those cities don?t care for those schools. Bigger schools or Pro teams dominate for the most part.

In those three cities there is no BIGGER school.

1. SMU- What are they known for? Death penalty, my interest in them? None.
2. Temple- What are they known for? Getting kicked out of Big East, my interest in them? none.
3. Tulsa/Tulane- Two private schools, my interest in them? none.
4. Memphis- On the first plane out, and more than likely Big 12.
5. USF- They have potential, where have we heard that before, my interest in them? It's Florida.

Who I have interest in- ECU, Memphis, Wichita St, and Navy. However, will Memphis, Navy, and Wichita be there by the time we get in.

This league is crap. We would essentially be trading one crap league for another, plus like CUSA most of the schools looking for the first way out.

I agree with this and don't really love the idea of going if they take 3 "market" schools and us. However if they add 4 to 6 quality programs east of Texas then I'm very interested. I just want Appy, Marshall and ECU together somewhere.

I would say LSU has more support in New Orleans than Tulane. 90% of Tulane's enrollment is from out of state. When Tulane left the SEC in 1966, it hurt their local fan support.
