  • I just wish we had hired someone else to be coach. This guy is a troublemaker.

Has to be a pouty that has forgotten how to find his way to the porn sites.

  • Do you think having the QB just hand it off up the middle every play is meaningful game experience?

Yeah well Marshall isn't Alabama. And stuff like off-field conduct, graduation rates, playing by the rules and respecting your opponents still matter. Winning can be first, but not at the expense of the other.

  • I guess some of us on here forget about how Donnan and Pruett would light up teams. Running it up because you play to win, and control the game is common in football. Don't think we are the only school that will keep pushing the ball while time is on the clock.

Didn't you get that a lot when Doc punted from our very own 39 yard line?  ::)

Keep telling yourself that. Let me know when you start donating to the spelling bee team....I don't give a crap as long as we win championships.

If you are talking what happened at Baylor or something then that's different,.....but stop crying cause we beat another team too bad. Good Lord!

I never whined in any of my comments on this subject. My comment is toward your asinine remark that nothing else matters except winning.

THis isn't U9 YMCA Soccer where everyone gets a trophy and parents bring snacks to every game. Taking a knee in a college football game shows that you DON'T respect your opponent. It shows them that you think they are terrible.

I never had a problem with Doc punting from our own 39 yard-line, as on most occasions that was justified.  However, I did not think much of the many times, he showed great sportsmanship by punting from the opponents, 39 yard-line.  :)

  • Coach Huff is about as classy as it gets imo.

I've been a little critical of the on field results in a few games, but there's no way anyone can complain about him as a person, his character, or how he represents himself and this University.

    As I said.

If Off field conduct and grad rates were that important, Doc would have been fired years ago.

  • I guess we should shoot for winning every game by 1 point so a couple of you will be happy while peeing sitting down.  Grow a set and be glad our 2,3, and 4?s get game experience!

We aren't talking about 6 year olds who are trying to learn the game and beating them 50-0 could kill the fun for them before they ever get the opportunity to learn. We are talking about young adults, young adults who to get to where they are have to be hyper-competitive people.

There is absolutely nothing classless about playing to score with your backups in during a blowout. As a competitive person who has been on both sides of this. I want the other team to keep trying to score as a defender so I can try to prove myself. And I want my offense to keep trying to score as an offensive player for the same reason.

    Crying about it, is SOFT.

I never even saw the end of the game as I was at a funeral. So my comments aren?t directly related to the game. I?m also in the minority on this board in that I really like coach Huff. That said, NFL coaches aren?t 6-year-olds either and they don?t try to run the score up. They take a knee. It?s called class and mutual respect.
