  • . . . are cranking it up and have a busy Holiday week in store in terms of play, games, etc.

Tonight several current foes, League and OOC, were in action, along with some future (SBC) teams.

    Ohio U, 4-1, defeated Mt. St. Mary's, 73-59.

The SBC's Troy won at FAU (3-3), 83-78

Fordham had no trouble with 2-2 Akron, 63-43

George Washington, 2-4, had no trouble with 1-3 Wright St., 74-63

    The MAC's Toledo, 3-1, won at 3-1 Charlotte, 98-86

    Duquesne, 2-4, 78, Bradley 70

Rice 4-1, may be a CUSA "sleeper" after winning an exciting, overtime contest at Evansville, 109-104

Somehow, at home, 3-1 UTEP managed to "stink it up" in losing to UC-Riverside, 52-40

  • I went to the Ohio vs UK game this last Friday night and thought they were pretty good. They had a big guy that was really impressive against UK. They managed to get two quick fouls on UK?s big inside so they had him out basically the whole first half.  UK didn?t seem to have an answer for him until the second half. UK lead 40-38 at the half. UK used its depth to run away with it in the second half.  It will be interesting to see how we play against them.

  • Louisiana was big and athletic but they couldn't shoot it in the ocean.  Tonight, they all will all probably look like Larry Byrd. :D

  • Im looking for a good game this evening.  I hope we come out like we did against WSU and not the others. We look like a team that plays down to their competiton.

  • I was channel surfing last night and saw part of the Indiana game (my cable system in FL has the Big 10 Network). Indiana beat Jackson State 70-35 in a battle of Herd opponents.
